Holy Family-the small school with a big heart!

Pupils from Holy Family Primary school being sponsored for bunny hops!

The children of Holy Family R.C. Primary School, Cardiff were determined to make the most of the Government scheme to match fund their CAFOD fundraising. Each class decided on a sponsored event to raise funds. They varied from Sponsored Bunny Hops, Walks, Spelling, Reading, Silence to a Sponsored Sing of Animal Songs linked to their current topic, the Farm.

The children fund raised over six weeks. The total raised was an incredible £1,196.71! The children had great fun raising money for such an important cause.

Kieran O’Brien from CAFOD said:

“I am absolutely delighted that one of the smallest Catholic schools in Cardiff was able to raise so much and get involved with our work.  Their energy and commitment is an inspiration to us all.  Well done Holy Family Primary school!”
