St Joseph’s Primary School, Swansea

Children from St Joseph’s RC Primary School in Swansea marked their ‘Welsh Week’ and the 100th anniversary of Swansea City Football Club, by coming to school in the white and black kit.

In return for wearing their own clothes for the day the children made a donation to CAFOD’s, ‘Give it Up’ appeal raising £200.

Deputy headteacher, Mrs Juliet Stack said:

“We thought we would focus on a CAFOD theme of Sport and Peace, asking the children to donate to the work of the charity. We are pleased that the money raised will go towards water projects that will make life easier for people living in developing countries to access clean water.”
