New office!

IMG_2113

After being at 11 Richmond Road for over 12 years, CAFOD South Wales has now moved office!

The new office, based in the historic Castle Arcade in the heart of Cardiff’s busy city centre, has a wonderful vista of Cardiff Castle from the front window, as well as a back window overlooking the inside of the Victorian arcade.

With no parking and easy access to all public transport links the new office will encourage a low carbon footprint for staff, but with direct access to some of Cardiff’s most tempting coffee shops and eateries, it will also encourage a high calorie intake!

“We really want to show our appreciation to the Rosminian community who have accommodated us for so long at Richmond Road.  Not only have they been extremely generous in their provision of office accommodation, they have also been extremely supportive of our work within their parishes and schools across South Wales.  We are sad to be leaving the parish, but our hope is that our work can still continue to develop over the coming years” said Kieran O’Brien, CAFOD Diocesan Manager.

If you are in town during the week please feel free to pop in and say hello.  Our new address is:

CAFOD South Wales, North Chambers, Castle Arcade, Cardiff, CF10 1BX

Our new telephone number is: 029 20 344 882

Please note: Access to the office is through the wooden folding door by the entrance of the Arcade (opposite Cardiff Castle), up the stairs and the office is the first one you come to.  At the time of writing this article we are still sorting out signage to the office with the landlord, so we apologise for any difficulties or confusion in trying to locate us in the meantime!
