The BIG IF Wales

The BIG IFAs the ‘Enough food for everyone IF’ campaign draws to a close, come and celebrate its achievements – from UK Budget decisions to historic commitments by world leaders to tackle global hunger.

The event will be hosted by the new Bishop of Monmouth (Church in Wales) and will have contributions from CAFOD, Christian Aid, Oxfam, Save the Children, plus many other charities who have been working closely together on the IF campaign. It promises to be an unmissable and exciting celebration that will inspire us all to continue to work together on helping to tackle global hunger.

The event will take place on Sunday 27 October 2013, 3-4pm at St Woolos Cathedral, Stow Hill, Newport NP20 4EA

60339We are asking for as many of our supporters as possible to go to this event to help represent CAFOD. We have CAFOD t-shirts available for those who wish to attend and help support this historic event.

It is important that we always come together to celebrate our achievements, so that we can reflect on how we have been successful and what ways to move forward next.

The event will include a range of exciting and dynamic speakers, Zimbabwean choir, campaign exhibition, and much, much more. Further details to follow. If you have not already seen our IF Wales animation, please see below to whet your appetite for the event!
