All of us at the CAFOD South Wales office are thrilled to introduce you all to our newest volunteer!
Eleanor King, 21, is a Cardiff University student studying English Literature and recently got involved with volunteering for CAFOD. She is in charge of our Facebook page and is already doing fantastically well at raising the profile of CAFOD South Wales online. The inclusion of a Facebook volunteer is part of our wider aim of increasing our engagement with social media in order to get more people involved with CAFOD in Wales.
Eleanor said, “Social media is so important for letting people know what CAFOD is doing in the community and at a wider level as well as being a way for supporters to let us know what action they are taking themselves. I hope that I can make Facebook a useful way to promote action being taken in Wales and encourage people to get involved with CAFOD.”
We hope you will take the time to ‘like’ our Facebook page (if you haven’t already!) and keep in touch letting us know what you are doing in your parish or school to support CAFOD South Wales.
