Volunteers have a great time ‘Understanding CAFOD’

Understanding CAFODVolunteers from across the diocese came to the Cornerstone to complete their first training day focused around ‘Understanding CAFOD’.

This was the first in a three part programme to introduce the volunteers to all the information they will need to become education volunteers. Volunteers are essential to our work and they are responsible for spreading the message of CAFOD out to schools through assemblies, visits and more.

The training was conducted at the Cornerstone, opposite Cardiff Metropolitan Cathedral of St David and all in all it was a great day. The volunteers learned about our projects overseas and how our Catholic values drive our work.

A massive thank you to all who came along, we really appreciate and value you giving your time to CAFOD and we look forward to the next training day!
