Christ the King Fairtrade Success!

c_CTK_Fairtrade_image_2Christ the King Primary School’s Eco Club held a coffee morning for parents at the school to promote Fairtrade during Fairtrade Fortnight.

The Eco Club, comprised of pupils from all year groups, were supporting Fairtrade by running the coffee morning and also having a stall selling Fairtrade produce. All who attended had an enjoyable morning and got to learn more about Fairtrade.

Kieran O’Brien, CAFOD manager who went along for the coffee morning said, “it was great to see the pupils from the Eco Club promoting Fairtrade in the school. Fairtrade is such an important initaitve and is easy for us all to support if we simply change our shopping habits.”

We would just like to say a huge well done to the Eco Club and Christ the King Primary.
