We are delighted to be able to offer a day of reflection to all our supporters and volunteers on the vision of Pope Francis for a renewed Church that is more connected to the plight of the poor, and lives out a vocation of helping those in greatest need.
Together we will explore and learn more about the gems of wisdom found in our Catholic faith, and to unpack some of the challenging teachings that Pope Francis presents us on topics ranging from caring for our common home, to refugees and care for our families. The day of reflection will also be a chance to explore how can we connect our lives to our deepest held values, and recognising new ways on how we can put Pope Francis’ vision into action in our own parishes and communities.
“How I would love a Church that is poor, and for the poor.”
– Pope Francis
This day is open to all supporters, including those who just want to find out more, and those who will benefit from a day of prayer and reflection on some important themes of our shared faith. Together we will take time to contemplate on the things that really matter to us, and to seek a way to help reconnect our lives to the values of the Gospel. This promises to be both informative and transformative!
Please do book your place as early as you can so as to avoid dissappointment. The day will start at 10:00 for a gathering with tea and coffee, and will go through to a shared lunch around 13:00, and finishing before 16:00. We ask you to bring food to share for lunch.

we are a parish that is very generous when asked to donate providing that they are encouraged to support the parish cause, providing it is for a worthy cause. Sadly .some of the parishioners who were very active have died or not so able, it is the youth and young parents that I am targeting .
You are doing a wonderful job Michael – we are incredibly grateful for your energy and enthusiasm in the parish.
