CAFOD AND WORKING WITH OUR CATHOLIC SCHOOLS

You are very welcome to join us on Thursday 19 September 2019 for our termly Education refresher training update which will be held in the Mostyn Room, adjacent to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint David in Cardiff (right next door to M & S).

If you think would like to join our team of volunteers working in the Archdiocese of Cardiff, then get in touch

We’d love to have a chat and invite you in to the volunteer centre in the heart of Cardiff to tell you all about what’s involved.  It’s as little or as much as you want to commit.

The Education Refresher day training on Thursday 19 September is an ideal time to meet the team and see the resources we will be using in the Autumn term first hand.  It’s a great opportunity to listen and learn from others, ask as many questions as you want and gain some excellent training.

We are always looking for articulate, enthusiastic and friendly people to join our team.

Watch this short video to get a snapshot of the work of CAFOD and why YOU are so integral to our success!

Why not take that first step and join us for coffee.  Simple lunch provided.  Please let us know any special dietary requirements you may have in advance.

Here is how some of the monies raised in schools – no matter how large or small the amount – can help people in desperate need:

  •  £10 helps teach a child to read
  •  £33 supplies a family with safe, clean water in their home
  •  £150 gives a family one cow which provides milk to drink and sell
  •  £300 buys a mobile health team for remote communities

Feel free to give us a call on 02920 344882 or Therese’s mobile number: 07823 445112.
